B.Tech M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security : 5-year Integrate Programme)

The Institute’s five-year integrated B.Tech-M.Tech Computer Science and Cyber Security program meets the New NEP Policy 2020’s undergraduate cyber security training needs. We train ethical, talented graduates in problem-solving, advanced computing, network security,
ethical hacking, and cyber defense. Graduates will be ready for digital era professional or research difficulties. We balance fundamentals, technology, and application in our program. After programming, algorithms, and database systems, students study cryptography, malware
analysis, AI, and network forensics. Advanced cyber security labs, simulations, and case studies teach incident response, penetration testing, and safe software development.Students learn cyber security through theoretical courses like Cyber Threats and
Vulnerabilities, Blockchain Security, AI and Machine Learning in Cybersecurity, and Cyber Laws and Ethics. Modern cyber security issues are explored in cyber attack simulations, digital forensics, IoT and cloud security, and incident response methods.Students gain cyber security experience from internships, cooperative projects, and field excursions to business leaders and government agencies. Cyber security analysts, ethical hackers, network security engineers, and cyber policy strategists will graduate with technical, analytical, and strategic skills. They will also support cybersecurity research and innovation to
safeguard global digital infrastructures.

Passed or appeared in 10+2 (or its equivalent) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one subject from Chemistry/ Biology/ Information Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship or any other equivalent subjects with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD category) in the above subjects taken together. Physics, Mathematics, and the maximum marks in Chemistry, Biology, Information Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational disciplines, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, or other equivalent disciplines will determine the 60% aggregate.

Our Programs

B.Tech and M.Tech in Cyber Security

B.Tech – M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) is a 5-year program in which the student will complete the engineering program with a specialization in Cyber Security in 5 years. The program is also known as an integrated 5 years program in engineering in Cyber Security. During this program, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in technology will be completed in 5 years. The students may get jobs in many sectors of engineering after completing the program. The program aims to provide computer science, programming, mathematics and cyber security knowledge to students. The program will give advanced technological knowledge of the specialization that the student will choose during the program.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed or appeared in 10+2 (or its equivalent) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry/ Biology/ Information Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship or any other equivalent subjects with a minimum of 60% marks (55 % for SC/ST/PwD category) in the above subjects taken all together (aggregate). 60% aggregate will be calculated on the basis of marks of Physics, Mathematics and maximum marks secured in Chemistry or Biology or Information Practices or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subjects or Business Studies or Entrepreneurship or any other equivalent subjects.

MTech Artificial Intelligence And Data Sciences (Specialization In Cyber Security)

The master degree “M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (specialization in Cyber Security)” is a two years post graduate program for the under graduates who would like to pursue their career in the relevant field. AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches to build smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. Data Science (DS) is an umbrella term for a group of fields that are used to analyze large datasets. It is the field of study that combines domain expertise, programming skills, and knowledge of mathematics and statistics to extract meaningful insights from data. The curriculum is structured so that it includes both foundational level courses and advanced level courses in AI, DS, and Cyber Security. Students can get a foundational grasp of AI & DS by taking foundational courses like, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Fundamentals of Data Science, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing. In addition, cyber security courses like Network Security and Forensics, Incident Response and Audit Compliance, Mobile Security and Forensics give insights to cut through the noise of daily alerts, drastically reducing response times. After successful completion of the program, students will be able to develop solutions to real world problems in the emerging areas of Manufacturing, Agriculture, Health-care, Education and Cyber Security. Systematically investigate and provide Artificial Intelligence and Data Science based solutions in multidisciplinary domains.

PG Diploma In Cyber Security

Today, we are living in a world which is largely driven my internet-based systems. Easy and affordable accessibility of internet has made our life simple and more convenient. On the same time, this easy accessibility of internet also created its own challenges in the terms of cyber crime and cyber warfare. No single individual is safe from cyber crime and thus this course is specifically designed to safeguard the cyber-space and mitigate cybercrimes which are booming around us. 1 year short duration diploma course designed in such a way that it will offer deeper and practical insights of cyber security and digital forensics. Starting with fundamentals like networking, scripting to digital forensics, incident response and management, vulnerability assessment, this course offers holistic understanding of cyber security and the evolving threats. As a part of pedagogy, laboratory component is mandatory in this course which will help students to get first-hand experience of understanding cyber-space.

Eligibility Criteria

BGraduate degree from any discipline with minimum 50% for General /OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 45% or equivalent for SC/ST and PwD Category candidates.
