Content Review Policy for Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, Lucknow (UPSIFS)
Objective:
The objective of this policy is to establish a clear framework for reviewing, updating, and managing digital content published on the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFSL) website. 1.3 Frequency of Content Review
Content should be reviewed at least quarterly, or sooner if changes in regulations, services, or significant institutional updates require it. Special reviews may also occur if there are major updates in technology, legal requirements, or public interest.
2. Content Creation & Review Guidelines
2.1 Content Accuracy and Relevance
- All content published on the website should be factually correct, up-to-date, and relevant to the Institute’s goals and the needs of stakeholders.
- Content owners must verify all legal, regulatory, and technical information with appropriate experts.
2.2 User-Centric Content
- Content should be written with the end-user in mind. It should be easy to read, understand, and navigate.
- The content should cater to diverse audiences, including the general public, students, professionals, and government officials.
2.3 Compliance with GIGW Standards
- Accessibility: Ensure that all web content adheres to the accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 or above) for people with disabilities.

- Compliance Audits should be conducted periodically to ensure that the content adheres to GIGW guidelines and legal standards. This includes checking for accessibility, data privacy, and content relevance.

- Based on monitoring and user feedback, content will be revised to align with user needs and ensure the website continues to serve its intended purpose effectively.

- Content Owners and content creators must undergo training on content creation, compliance with GIGW standards, and accessibility. Training should be updated regularly to cover new GIGW revisions and digital communication best practices.
7.2 Awareness Programs
- Conduct internal awareness programs for all stakeholders to ensure familiarity with this Content Review Policy, GIGW standards, and relevant legal requirements.

8.1 Review and Approval
- This policy should be reviewed annually by the Content Review Committee to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. Any changes to the policy must be approved by the governing body of UPSIFSL.
